B Corp Certified
Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact, public transparency, and legal commitment to balance profit and purpose. As a B Corp, Gembridge balances these priorities and is a business as a force for good.
What it means to be B-Corp Certified
Gembridge is deeply committed to working towards improved diversity and reduced inequality, a positive social impact on our team, communities and customers, a healthier environment and creation of more high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose.
For further information, visit Gembridge’s B Corp profile.
We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment. While Gembridge is mindful to operate at the highest ethical and socially responsible levels, we also take steps to ensure our suppliers and clients also have a focus on social and environmental impacts.
Its Just the beginning
B Corp certification is much more than just a symbol of trust for consumers. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to operating with people and planet as a focus, and providing a business-wide framework to assess, improve and evolve. Maintaining our B Corp status will continually challenge us to think about our impacts on community, employees, candidates, clients and the environment.
partnerships with purpose
Australian Communities Foundation
Gembridge Australia has a Named SubFund with the Australian Communities Foundation (ACF), simply named Gembridge. We started our structured giving program in 2022 with a Gumnut Account with ACF to intentionally grow our giving and commitment to philanthropy.
This initiative provides the structure and framework for Gembridge’s giving, and to make a positive impact on issues that matter to us.
Gembridge is proud to be part of ACF’s extraordinary philanthropy community, enabling us to learn, connect, and be inspired.
Food For Change
Gembridge is in a multi-year partnership with Food For Change, an organisation that supports Australians by ensuring they receive the food relief they deserve through growing produce, leading food rescue initiatives, supporting food relief agencies and reducing food waste across the country.
Through this partnership, Gembridge has helped provide 55 fruit trees and 16 veggie beds at The Briars (Mornington Peninsula). We have gotten our hands dirty a few times, helping to plant and harvest produce in the small part we play to help relieve food insecurity. Read more here.
