Celebrating 6 Years of Growth, Connections, and Impact at Gembridge!
Launched in 2019 with a fresh logo, a new website, and a strong vision, Gembridge began with a wealth of recruitment experience and a deep passion for what we do. At the time, I was at the FIA Conference in Melbourne, reconnecting with both old and new networks. After spending a few years away from recruitment to lead Capital Campaigns and Major Gifts programs as a professional fundraiser, the timing to return to my recruitment career couldn’t have been more perfect. The support from long-time connections in the sector was nothing short of overwhelming.
Just a year later, we hired our first employee, Jenni, who has just celebrated five incredible years with Gembridge. A mere three weeks after that, the world was hit with the Covid lockdown. Navigating remote work, managing kids and school, and handling limited projects in the chaos was no easy feat. We finally met face-to-face for the first time at our Christmas party at Point Leo Estate, a day we look back on with gratitude and as the beginning of the next phase. Now, six years later, here we are, and into year seven!

⭐ BCorp Certification: Since February 2022, we’ve been proud to be a BCorp Certified company, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to social and environmental responsibility. March is BCorp month and we are in the midst of recertification.
⭐ Giving Back: We established our giving subfund through the Australian Communities Foundation to increase our impact. Additionally, our meaningful volunteer days with Food For Change, SisterWorks, and Our Village have been an important part of our journey.
