The 2020 Fish Scholarship, an opportunity for small charities.

ARE YOU AT A SMALL CHARITY AND LOOKING FOR SOME FUNDRAISING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT?

Gembridge is excited to share this generous initiative. Fish Community Solutions has been offering this special education initiative, the Fish Scholarship, since 2014 to support individuals working at small non-profit organisations. In 2020, the chosen scholarship recipient will be awarded a place at the Fundraising Institute of Australia’s Fundraising Essentials course either in a virtual class format in November 2020 or via the online delivery mode and a complimentary 12 months Advanced Membership to the Small Non-Profits Alliance.

The FIA’s Essentials course is the ‘101’ of fundraising, teaching you what you really need to know about fundraising, all wrapped neatly into a one-day course. For more information about the course, visit the FIA website. The Scholarship winner will also be given a complimentary Advanced Membership for 12 months to the Small Non-Profits Alliance, an online community specifically dedicated for small charities across Australia. The Small Non-Profits Alliance is also an initiative of Fish Community Solutions.

The Fish Scholarship is open to those working with an Australian charity with limited professional fundraising experience. In line with their focus of supporting and educating small non-profits, applicants must be working with organisations that are registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission and have an annual revenue less than $1,000,000.

Applications close 30th August 2020.
