Gem Spotlight - DAWN PATRICK
Dawn joined the Gembridge team about three months ago, and has truly hit the ground running. Below, we learn what she’s passionate about, her favourite book and who she’d love to have dinner with!
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I’m Dawn and I relocated from sunny Singapore in 2015 with my husband. Since then we’ve expanded our little family and have added 2 little ones to the mix who keep us on our toes. There are days when I miss the bustling city life Singapore is known for and being able to get food at literally any time of the day and night, it’s a city that never sleeps!
What are you passionate about?
I love baking when I get the time as it helps me to destress.
I also enjoy musical theatre, it’s been awhile since I’ve been to watch a show as I always have the kidlings in tow but am hoping to pass on this love to them eventually.
Italy was a true dream holiday for Dawn.
Where is your favourite or dream holiday destination?
Italy was a dream destination for so long and when I finally made it there, it was just amazing!
Next on my dream holiday destination list is New York!
What is your favourite movie, TV show or book?
I am a huge fan and have read all the Harry Potter books and watched all the movies.
If you could invite 3 guests to dinner, who would they be?
Oprah, Michelle Obama and Beyonce – that would be such an amazing evening!
What’s the best thing about your current role?
I love meeting and interacting with people and getting to work closely with clients and meeting new candidates on a daily basis keeps me ticking.
What is another profession that you think would be cool to work in, but you never would?
I’ve always held Healthcare workers in high regard and always thought it would be so cool to be a nurse however the sight of blood and needles makes my knees go jelly and so I could never do it!
