Wellbeing is on the radar for NFP leaders.

Gembridge launched a Wellbeing Webinar Series last week, and so pleased that wellbeing is on the radar in the not-for-profit sector with 83 leaders attending. We are looking forward to the next 2 sessions on 5 and 12 August. (registration details below - FREE)!

Carli Phillips from Corporate Wellbeing Hub presented an overview on wellbeing to help leaders put their own oxygen mask on first, tips to pay attention and understand the signs and provided suggested strategies available to enhance your own wellbeing, in order to lead others. Carli inspired people to create their own self-care plan across four quadrants – physical, mental relationships and environment. A lot of valuable content delivered in 45 minutes.

Carli said that we can be at any point in the mental health continuum, and during the webinar via an interactive poll, attendees were asked, “Today, what is the one word to describe how you are feeling?” The highest rankings were Exhausted (38%), Anxious (18%), Motivated (14%) and Content (12%). The results are not surprising considering we are in the midst of a pandemic.

We have received extremely positive feedback about this initiative with one attendee saying “It was terrific!!  And perfect timing too. It proved to be way better than I had even expected.  Such important stuff to hear and even though a lot of is well known, it makes such a difference being reminded by a professional who can articulate it in such a clear way and provide a framework for thinking it through”.

Gembridge has partnered with Corporate Wellbeing Hub to deliver these webinars to Leaders in ‘for purpose’ sector (for FREE). Carli is a corporate Wellbeing Specialist, Mental Health First Aider, Nutritionist and Keynote Speaker and creates customised programs for Australian businesses, focusing equally on physical and mental wellbeing with the purpose of "enhancing Wellbeing one person at a time." She also led the Employee Wellbeing program for Johnson & Johnson which is now a finalist for the 2020 Australian HR awards for "The Best Health & Wellbeing program”.
